HACCP International are delighted to introduce Mr Ron Mathis of Medcom who has been appointed to the role of ‘Executive Vice President – Americas’ base in Orlando. FL. In this role, Ron will be working with the HACCP International’s agency, D L Newslow and Associates’ team, also base in Florida and headed by the renowned Debby Newslow.

Ron will be responsible for strategy, business development and relationships with HACCP International’s increasing food safety certification customer base of suppliers of materials and equipment to the food industry on the American continents. In so doing, he will also be developing further  relationships with key food industry organisations and businesses He is well supported by Debby’s extensive technical team and the resources of HACCP International’s main regional offices in The UK, Hong Kong and Australia and staff in other key international locations.

 

Ron, a graduate of South Florida University and the Cornell Executive Management Program, brings with him a wealth of experience in certification gained over his many years with the like of Intertec, BSI and SGS. This, when coupled with an a very successful and on-going track record with Medpoint, makes him ideal for this role in developing HACCP International’s product certification scheme – food safe equipment, materials and services – in both North and South America.

 

The scheme already counts a great number of excellent food safe products from the likes of Kimberly Clark, 3M, SCA Hygiene, Silikal, Bayer, BASF, Electrolux and Hoshizaki on its registers both in The USA and further afield.

 

Ron says ‘this a hugely exciting product and arrives in the USA at a perfect time as the American food industry applies itself to producing the best and safest food in the world. This scheme addresses the considerable risks that come from equipment and materials and will identify the very best products that industry can rely upon in eliminating hazards and reducing risk to consumers and food businesses.’
